This photograph takes on the chaos and humor inherent in family life. Blackmon's compositions are influenced by 17th and 18th century Dutch paintings, but presented in a hyper-focused, colorful, and carefully staged digital photography. While the images have an almost surreal stillness, they also appear to capture a moment in an unruly narrative.
