In The Sky, Once Choked with Stars, Will Slowly Darken (Nelson), Dario Robleto created a glowing ring of light by isolating the stage light from a Rick Nelson album cover, digitally erasing the image of the singer, and reconstructing a complete circle of light against the darkness of the concert stage. The long-dead musician and rock idol is transformed into a star in the firmament of music. The digital print quietly unites Robleto's interest in music with his ongoing exploration of disappearance and lodd.
