Label Text
This early Nayland Blake sculpture is a marionette-like work used in performances by the artist and nicely informs the 1993 untitled, life-size work (Untitled) by the artist currently in the collection. Each piece addresses issues of race and sexual identity from both a personal and universal point of view.
