BiographyG. D. ThyagaRaj, sometimes given as G. D. Thyaga Raj. His initials are often confused as M.D. or A. D Thyagaraj. He was the youngest of three brothers who are all well known Indian painters. Born in 1930 in Kodiakanal, India. His brother Arul Raj wrote a well known book on painting techniques. Their family home was in Kodaikanal in Southern India.
