BiographyHis early work dealt with the structural correlation of geometric forms and his use of contrasting materials (Cubist and parallel to collage). After 1930 he concentrated on the femal figure as a basis for his work but remained preoccupied with the interplay of forms, organic instead of geometric. Much of his sculpture and graphic work includes themes from Greek mythology.
