It's hard to hunt because you're always trespassing all the housing developments which are taking over the open fields. Since there are more people and more houses, the game is moving futher out., from the "Suburbia" series

These children at a nonsegregated housing project in Washington, D.C., are growing up in an atmosphere of racial harmony, reflecting the attitudes in their parents' homes. There is no reason to believe that integration will contribute to intermarriages, the social scientists say, because experience has shown that 90% of all marriages are between people who have similar racial, social and religious backgrounds. This is one example of racial integration of a number in the nation's capital. President Eisenhower hopes Washington will became a model for the rest of the nation. Her dwelling was one of more than a hundred which burned down during and after a Viet Cong rocket attack on the provincial capital. I don't feel that Richie playing with guns will have a negative effect on his personality. (He already wants to be a policeman). His childhood gun-playing won't make him into a cop-shooter. By playing with guns he learns to socialize with other children. I find the neighbors who are offended by Richie's gun, either the father hunts or their kids are the first to take Richie's gun and go off and play with it., from the "Suburbia" series
