Mujer con Arbol, 1989, is from the artist’s “90th Anniversary Suite,” which he produced to commenorate his 90th birthday. Although widely known as a painter, Tamayo was heavily involved with printmaking, and even constructed his paper by hand. He is widely considered to be one of the most well-known Mexican artists of the 20th century.
