American scene painter John Costigan's etching and drypoinnt, Bathers, depicts two women and six children on a wooded shore disrobing, or getting dressed after swimming. Richly drawn, drypoint burr evokes summer light and shadows. Costigan conjures simple pleasures on a summer day in Depression-era America.
