British painter Charles Sims was a member of the Royal Academy of Arts. His lithograph of a nude female figure amidst drapery refers to the story of Noah following the flood in Genesis 9:27: "God shall enlarge Japeth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant."
