Label Text Prints of Halley’s Stacked Prisons grew out of a collaborative effort between Peter Halley and Andrea Ferrigno: he was the designer and she was the printer. In each of the prints, a cage-like module is stacked into a stepped pyramid in rows of four, three, two, and one units. The handmade printing blocks, fitted together like a puzzle, and the hand-printing belie the Minimalist and Precisionist aesthetic of the series. A close look at the nine prints offers surprising variations on the numerical theme. Source: News. Jul Aug Sep 2015.
