This pen and toushe lithograph dates from the beginning of lithography as an artistic medium. The lithograph was one of 12 prints published in the portfolio Specimens of Polyautography London, 1802. Corbould's image of a wooded landscape with an ancient, gnarled tree ad figures is a spendid example of English Romanticism.
