This painting by Sarkisian consists of trompe d'oeil imagery of front pages from the Des Moines Register and Tribune. David Kruidenier, the Des Moines Register's Chairman, sent the artist a bundle of newspapers and an open invitation to create a work from them. Sarkisian subsequently incorporated the newspapers in a series of other works.
