Label Text Visiting artist. Louis Bouche, the nationally known painter and teacher will be at the Art Center from July 1 to 27, 1952, to conduct classes, critiques, conferences, and give talks. Thios program is made possible by a grant from the Cowles Foundation in memory of Florence Call Cowles. Mr. Bouche is known in Des Moines through his painting "Bay Ridge, Winter", which was purchased for the Edmundsen Foundation in April, 1950 (deaccessioned in 1985). Source: Bulletin, May 1952.
