Label Text "The Table", oil, 28x31, by Richard Diebenkorn represents by excellent example the work of one of the most promising talents among the younger West Coast painters. Born in Portland, Oregon, and eduated in California, Diebenkorn's work has taken him through a non-objective period with a return to figurative themes. Source: Bulletin, January 1962.
