Label Text This lithograph by Josef Albers is one of a large series of homages to the square, as he called them, which preoccupied the artist during the latter part of his life. Characteristically, it manifests the artist's abiding concern with the inter-relationships of color, form and tone with concentric squares. Source: bulletin, July-August, 1979.
