Richard Black is well known as a leading printmaker in Iowa. He received a B.F.A. from Drake University and an M.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and for many years was a professor of printmaking at Drake University. He founded Drake's national Biennial Printmaking Symposium. This artist's proof of Tea for Alice was donated by the DMAC Pint Club; an edition of 50 was commissioned.
