Label Text Grant Wood began making his lithographs, usually in editions of 250, in 1937. Tree Planting Group was one of five prints which he produced that year. Except for a few very minor details, the lithograph is practically identical to a larger drawing done four years earlier. Source: Bulletin, May-June, 1978.
