Label Text Whether his works portray figures or whether they appear to be nonrepresentational, Diekenkorn's chief concern is with the depiction and manipulation of space. This is done primarily by the use of color with lines often serving as directional guidelines. Traces of the artist's Abstract Expressionist past are most clearly (and paradoxically) evident in this print in the linear forms. This is print number 3 from an edition of 90.
